    Default Don't yer hate it when... ?

    G'day,

    You haven't shaved for a bit, you've got a client meeting tomorrow morning and you have to shave. You decide to shave tonight because it'll save time if you do it tonight, the razor is blunt so you pop a new one one.

    Jump in the shower to shave, you start shaving and slice you cut your earlope near off (not really, but it adds to the story), so for the rest of the shower you've got blobs of claret dripping of your face onto the shower floor :mad: .You get out and have a look at the damage and you looks like your Grandma when she's nicking off to the club to see her "friend" with those great big red ear-rings hanging off the side of her head.

    Bugger, damnit! I hate shaving!

    Poor bugger.

    Hellova hurry you must have been in though...

    I cut myself occationally. I've got this straight razor I stubbornly use to save money.....Alls well as long as the blade stays straight to me face.....but when I'm in a hurry I skew it and slice my face up when it catches a wrinkle

    So did the client ask you what happened to your face ?

    If I shaved the night before, I'd still have to shave again in the morning.

    Can't say I've ever shaved in the shower. I need to use a mirror to see what I'm doing.

    G'day,

    I should be shaving again this morning but I've got a few things to do like an invoice for a client before meeting with them.

    Shave by mirror, nah - I just turn the shower head down and use the top of it as a mirror for my sidies and feel by braile for the rest.

    Wasn't in a hurry, but a new blade meant a bit more precaution should've been used, but a couple of ales may have been a contributing factor here.

    Drought? Where? Brax doesn't think we're in one otherwise why are we only on Stage 2 when Qld in on Stage 4, and we don't need any dams. :confused:

    Anyway I've got to get that invoice done.

    I'd say more than a couple of beers were involved, Waldo.

    After all, I'm partial to the odd brew and I can't say I can remember that particular problem at all in the last 20 odd years...

    Whoever said you need a sharp blade was wrong in my opinion.

    I use the same blade for months and I shave every day, and in the evening too if I was going out.

    I reckon preparation (sound familar?) is crucial - lots of soap and gel.

    It's when I use a new one I might just get caught.

    You clearly havenoideaatall (always wanted to say that).

    If I used the same blade more than 3 or 4 times, it would be like pulling the whiskers out. Now I don't mind a bit of pain, but that hurts!

    Alex as far as I know no one is born with a beard so that blows your theory out of the water.

    As for using the same blade for months... WHAT THE HELL.... mate if I dont change mine every two or three days, like Mr SilentC says, it is like grubbing out an old river red gum ..... and I am a fair haired bloke that couldn't grow a beard if my life depended on it!!
