Default Builders reclaimed timber stack - Free Mt Waverley Vic

Builder (my next door neighbour) has sold up and his pile of reclaimed timber must go on Monday morning or is destined to become firewood._DSC3247.jpg_DSC3248.jpg_DSC3249.jpg_DSC3250.jpg_DSC3252.jpg_DSC3254.jpg

    Imge 5,6 & 7 - Various reclaimed hardwood - some Jarrah.

Meet me outside my place between 10.00am and noon on Monday 8th June and I will take you in. Take as much as you want - first in - first served. Builder reserves the right to say a particular piece is not available, but it is unlikely as he does not have room for any more at his new place.

My address: 29 William St Mt Waverley (off Stephenson Road - turn WEST opposite Police Station)

I am tempted but Monday is already pretty busy family wise. Much thinking to be done.

Well I just got home with a nice trailer load

Thanks to Bob and his neighbour Phillip for the nice timber, and thanks to Simplicity for giving me a hand to load a few pieces.

My workbench build has just been upgraded from Oregon trestles to hardwood, and I am very happy about that.

There was heaps there. I took all I could see a use for and be able to store but I really didn't make a dent in what was there.

    Cheers

Holy crap Batman, these mexicans south of the border are a wierd lot. Only two members took advantage of Phillip's generous offer.

An extremely disappointing result as approximately 2 tonne of good timber will now go to landfill or firewood!

Give you local recycling building / demolition supplier a call, they will take it, may even offer you a $ for them.
