    Default Tip for mixing colours

I have just finished making a toy kitchen for my daughter and found a great way to paint it in many colours without having to buy several tins of paint. I had some semi-gloss white acrylic that I used to paint the bathroom ceiling left over and thought I would try mixing up my own colours. I bought a pack of acrylic colours from the local craft shop and mixed up the colours as I needed. It worked a treat. Minimal wastage, much reduced cost and lots more colour choice. Just thought I would share it with you all. Of course, I fully expect that what feels like enlightenment to me is probably old hat to many of you out there .

Very good idea, I'm after a few small tins of different colours to paint on the end of my tools to differentiate between them and this will do fine.

    Thanks.
