Door jamb kits
New project starting this weekend, building a partition wall with double doors to divide our downstairs into a media room and separate hallway.
I am pretty sorted on everything except the door jambs, I was looking at the kits in Bunnings the other day (only single doors, really helpful) and the jambs are 116m wide. Now I am using 90x35 stud work with 10mm drywall either side - this may be a stupid question but why arent they 110mm or even 112mm?
Is there anything special about the kits, can I just buy separate primed MDF of the same size given they don't do double door kits?
