Woodlee
Just to let the members here know that young Kev, aka Woodlee; is having a few medical issues and currently residing in Hospital for a time - he'll be offline for a bit so hold the emails please.........he asked me to pass on to everyone that while he's in there, he'll be redesigning their machines to stop that annoying 'ping' and tweeking up their performances a bit...said he's still got an eye out for a suitable vice for his shaper if he sees one there...
In speaking with him today, he's assured me he'll be up and around soon and we'll be getting back into the muddies and barra again proper after the wet ends.........there's a few big ones we left behind last time that have his initials and a few of his best lures still in them - but first he needs to sort out the medical staff and their noisy machines
If anyone needs further info, pls PM me off list and I'll pass them on to him etc...........thanks..............Lee

Thanks for letting us know Lee? Get well soon Kev, sorry to hear about your health problems.
Lets hope you don't run the nurses off there feet,
A rest might do you good anyway, but I am sure your thoughts will still be on machines.
Lee, I think he got a vise for his shaper, unless something went on.

Hi Lee,
Thanks for the update. I was wondering where Kev had gotten to.
Tell him, to get well soon, the shaper support group all want to see that big shaper running...

Update o Woodlee/Kev
Thanks to Lee/backersegg for keeping me up to date on Woodlee.
I just got off the phone with ( EDITED) I spoke to Kev/Woodlee he is now in Darwin Private surrounded by young gorgeous nurses 24/7 this alone has brought his heart rate back up (just don't let Sue find out). They are doing all they can to make him try forget about fishing and crabs.
He's doing well surgery has been put off till Tuesday and hopefully home by Friday.
Hang in there Kev this rest time is just allowing the crabs and Barra to grow that little bit more.
Edited in Blue above. sorry should have mae that clearer

It's been 5 days, any updates Lee? Is Kev home or still in Hospital.
There probably keeping him in to attend the tool alcoholics (TA) classes while he is sedated. Because once they let him out there will be no stooping him again.
Get well son Kev it wont be long till your home enjoying yourself again

Further on Big Kev, .........
Dave, Wheelinround posted the latest a few threads back and no doubt got an earful for his troubles from the lad who's not a happy camper being away from his shed for so long........think it's called Shed Separation Anxiety Syndrome..........pretty ugly complaint as we all know
He asked me this morning to pass on his thanks and gratitude for all the support and well wishers he's had.....certainly improved his spirits listening to what's going on.. ...am sure when he's done and dusted soon ; he'll be back to his jovial self and catching up with all the threads.........on his behalf, thanks again, he really appreciates it...............Lee

Thanks Lee, Ray posted that after I posted earlier.
I had a good long chat to him on the phone an hour or so ago, and he seems in good spirits.
Thanks for letting us know and keeping us updated..

Get well soon Mr Woodlee, your old metal shaper awaits your urgent attention.
For goodness sakes don't tell em you want to get out to repair an old metal shaping machine or they'll throw you out before fixing you or else lock you up
Cheers.
If I'm not right, then I'm wrong, I'll just go bend some more bananas.
