Forum so slow
Why is the forum so slow and unresponsive at I guess you call peak times, like in the early evening or early morning?
Are the servers slow, or the hosting company not have enough bandwidth?
The problem is not at my end as I do not have problems with other forums like I do this one at times...
It has been going on for months... This page here took a minute to load...Light red, the colour of choice for the discerning man.

I am on a very slow ADSL1 connection and I don't have any problems using this forum.
Have been using it on my mobile internet connection on my Android Tablet for the past week or so, again no real issues (albeit a tad slower than ADSL1 but you expect that).
(Next Thursday is NBN Day, when we get our Fixed Wireless Broadband, that should speed things up)
PS Just a thought, what browser are you using? This forum does seem to problems with Internet Explorer, I use Firefox and lots of people also report good results with Google Chrome)

I also use firefox.... But as an example I hit submit on a private message five minutes ago and it is just hanging at "connecting"

I was using firefox before and it does run real slow on certain pages.
especially if you went to the main forum list page, the ads on the right took 80% of the time to load the page..
changed to the latest chrome recently and it works better on the forums pages (when chrome doesn't time out and make me reload 5 times).
