Insulating Brick Veneer
Hello,
I have a 2 story home built from brick veneer downstairs and weatherboard upstairs.
I would like to turn 1 room downstairs into a bedroom and 1 into an office. The interior walls in the rooms I want to use are brick, no cavity or internal walls. The brick you see inside is the same one you see outside I suppose you could say.
What I would like some advise on, is what is the best way to insulate and use the 2 rooms. Should I build up internal walls and put bats in? And what about ventilation, does it need any? I want to do it properly, but not spend an excessive amount.
I will be doing the work myself.
Thanks in advance, I am new to the renovating game.
