G'Day to all
Afternoon All,
Just wanted to say G'day. I found this forum after doing a google search for woodturning clubs. I have been turning for a while but never new there was a group of people that talked about stuff. especially turning..
I signed up this morning and have sent most of the day reading all the posts. (well as much as I can find )
there are some very talented people out there.

Hi BB and welcome to the madness. Indeed there are many turners out there just waiting to share. Have you checked out to find your local woodturning/crafting group. Membership of such a group can be very rewarding for novices and experts alike.

thanks all for your words, I do have a few photos of some stuff I've done, but being new to forums I'm not sure how to add photos just yet, and I'm not sure it will be good enough to post ..

Hi Betty Boop,
How far "Outer Melbourne" are you e.g.
North, South, East or West. May be able to point
you in the direction of your nearest woodturning club.
