What's the best way to repair this?
My cousin installed the aircon here which I just removed [ Thanx Scott for the muscle] and I'm ashamed to say that I OK'd it.
At the time I did not know any better
The whole of this wall is as shaky as anything I have ever felt but for this particular stud I was going to insert a short section and splint the section down to the noggin or should I remove the noggin use a full length stud and replace the noggin?
The same for all the crippled studs which have no strength at all in the direction of the cut, should I splint the full length and redo all the noggins or just to 150mm above the cut?
