thought it was cute at the time
I thought it was cute when the water dragons didn't run off when I got close
I thought it was cool when I could hand feed them
it was great when they would jump on my leg for a feed
now...(two weeks later) it's not so good when they start biting your toes when they want a feed.
and when they start climbing in the window and watching tv with you on the lounge.
anyone out there know how to retrain waterdragons
ps ...the dog guards his food bowl and thats all.
what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

Yes, they're attractive critters alright. We had one here for a long time, used to wander all over the place.
Disappeared when we had all the trees cut down. I think all the activity scared him away.

Don't feed on demand - feed them in the one place and at the one time - of your choosing.
Try to keep some "distance" as you are not a threat to them but others may be should they get too close or friendly.
Keep it up.

Bob
