1mm skim coat entire wall / sanding?
hi guys
i have just spent a couple of days practicing my plastering skills by doing a 1mm skim of top coat from floor to ceiling. Its come up real nice and now its time to paint...
However, the instructions on the tub say sand with 150 grit paper.
I tried this and it left definite scratches across everywhere. So i have used 180 grit and its come up much nicer, but maybe too smooth?
Question is, will this be too smooth as paint needs something to grip onto?
Or will the paint hide the scratches from the 150 grit paper?
thanks all
