Blue Mountains Get Together Mark II....early May....all welcome
G'day all
The second BM GTG will be on Sunday 5th May from 10.30am. This is the week before Mother's Day.
FORUM GET TOGETHER:
- Sunday 5th May
- from 10.30 until we run out of yak (the verbal kind)
- Bring what you want for the BBQ
- BYO liquids
- Bring a collapsible chair (although don't worry if you are coming by train)
- Regardless of your local weather, bring a very warm jacket or similar (we had a fire going all day Xmas & Boxing Days)
- No theme, but maybe you want to bring a small tool or two for Show & Tell. Something that's hard to get, rare, super-useful, or that you have made yourself.
SELL & TRADE TABLE
If you've got something you want to trade or sell then you may as well bring it along.
We will supply:
- Salads (in significantly smaller quantity than last time)
- Coffee & Tea
- A cake (if you're good, and I'll tie some string around my finger)
- An address (I'll send a PM in due course)
- Four sheets of Yellow Tongue
The two Japanese Maples in the back yard are absolutely pumping colour then - just beautiful. May doesn't have a great deal of rain on average either.
Hopefully those who couldn't make it last time will be able to come. Out-of-towners are very welcome - maybe you could hire a minibus and fill it with woodies.
Cheers
Brett

Thanks for the invitation Brett.
I hope it will be as good as the last one.(there wasn't enough time to get to talk to everyone)
i am hoping to go to the WWWShow in Brissy a couple of weeks after. So with that in view I will try and do the two venues, but it will depend on the $ situation.
I have seen your hardwork/timber. It sure will be one hell of a bench!!!
Paul dropped mine off last night. He was running very late but we had a hasty chat while we unloaded mine. Gee he is a nice bloke.
Thanks again for initiating the hardwood buy.Just do it!
Kind regards Rod
