    Default Bathroom door vent

Can somebody tell me if the plastic vents in the bottom of the bathroom door are allowed? I have just put one in (to help keep it steam free, as there is a big problem due to insufficient of air flow) and was told this is illegal. Is this correct?

Off the top of my head no, unless it's part of an airlock between a toilet pan & the kitchen ??
