    Default Something Different

    CORFU Church. Greece

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My first attempt using the new Paint shop pro 9 art media tool.

My holiday photograph of this beautiful scene by a cliff in Corfu was taken just a few minutes after a very heavy squally storm.

Although the picture was put up on the screen in psp9 only a few brush outlines were traced to the canvas. After this many of the art brushes were used (something like multi media painting) and there are most probably hundreds of variations available when taking into account whats on offer.

The only problem I see to the future with this software is that I most probably have taken over 10,000 photographs over the years and what if I now start to trace and paint each picture, (ah what memories)

If anyone has not used this type of software its not a case of asking the program to make up a picture for you by pushing a button. You actually drag (I use a cheap stylus) brushes at different presures and imitate some of the old traditions of painting including mixing colours on a palette.
