    Default Newbie

    Hi everyone,
New to this forum. Been lurking for a few days.
I live in michigan & am a retired papermaker.Had 43 years with the company.
I am 66 years old, married, three children. Two boys & a girl. All grown(thankfully)
Now i'm able to do what i want which is woodworking. Build mostly boxes, & still learning what can be done with that. Had the pleasure of seeing some of the work being done here. Must say there are very talented craftsmen here. I build the occasional piece of furniture.
Looking forward to seeing pics of projects & will post some of mine.
    Regards
    Rich.

    Welcome Rich!
    .
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

    Regards, Woodwould.

    G'Day Rich,
    Welcome to the forum.
From memory Michigan is a cold state this time of year and has deep footings for your homes which lends it's self to very big basements; with the good central heating you have it'll make a top woodwork shop.
Enjoy the forum and enjoy your woodwork.
    Cheers, Crowie.

Welcome Rich, my brother of the frozen tundra! I've also got the box making bug. The dedicated forum on box making is what drew me here.

    Great place to hang out!
