Urgent help with Cement Mixer
Hi All,
My borrowed cement mixer has just stopped working. I am under the pump to get a couple of retaining walls built before the fencing contractor comes next week.
I need to get the thing working again urgently...the problem is, I have no idea on where to take it to get it repaired. I am in Perth and would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction....
I suspect its an electrical fault as we had it working pretty hard today and it just stopped mid mix.....
Any help or guidance much appreciated!!!

A bit awkard but could you ask the lender if he has had this sort of trouble and with luck he might say "oh yeah, I get that, just give it a kick"
BTW have you checked the fuse?woody U.K.

Did the motor perhaps overheat and popped the reset?
Look for a reset button on the motor somewhere.

Check for a thermal cut out button on the end of the motor. Give it a press.
If it goes again contact the owner as the motor bearings may be dry and it will burn out the motor.
Dont ask how I know.

Most prob thermal cut out , but did you try it on another power circuit or plug something else into the circuit like a radio

Just wash it and drop it off at ya mates place, then go down to the hire shop

Thanks to all for suggestions.....
Came home from work tonight, took the plastic cover off, hit the reset button and it fired up!
I did try this yesterday but to no avail...I assume we overloaded it and it took time to cool down before it would work again...
Anyhow....cheers!
