Damage to door frame - moisture stain
Hi All,
I am hoping you can help. We have just installed a new door frame and door before the renderers started their work.
unfortunately they didn't cover up the base of the door frame and now there is a dark stain where some render had dropped on it (see pic).
is there anyway to get this stain out??
thanks
matt

Try oxalic acid, and if there's no joy with that, sand it back - it's more likely a 'alkali material on wood' stain than a moisture stain.
