    Default cfa volunteers sacked

Just saw this on The AGE site, Date 13th Feb

Two volunteers firefighters who are still out there fighting the fires have found out they have been made redundant by FOSTERS.

    FOSTERS COMMENT
It's a very unfortunate accident of timing and we are desperately sorry for it

True, it is a sad thing BUT they weren't fired because they were out fighting fires.

The whole maintenance section, of whom they were part, has been sacked because the company is going to outsource their maintenance.

Still despicable but not quite the way your post looks.

Anyway I'll stop drinking their beer from now on as a protest.

Never was much of a beer - let's hope they go broke.
