150mm circ saw blade
Hi All,
When I came to Oz I brought with me a bosch 150mm circular saw. I need a new blade for it and it's a 150mm. I can't find a replacement for it without ordering from the UK and I could replace the saw for the cost for that. Anybody know where I can get one at a reasonable price? I assume it is a non standard size here.
I needed the corded circ saw to run lengthways down a 3m beam, 80mm thick. I might have gotten away with the 150 cutting from both sides but in the end I bought a Makita 5900B. What a joy. But that's another post. It would be nice to have the Bosch for smaller stuff.

I have the 150 bosh also and have it set up for cutting sheets
As it doesn't get used much I haven't needed to purchase blades but the last one I got, if memory serves me, was from bunnings about 3 or 4 yrs ago.Don't force it, use a bigger hammer.
Timber is what you use. Wood is what you burn.

Try Sawandbits. They are only cheap as they are a total stock clearance.
I have been happy with the 7.25" and 9.25" blades I have bought.Kev

150mm or 6 1/4in?
I've got a 6 1/4 Makita and have no drama getting blades. Bunnings sell Irwin brand ones for $30ish, but make sure the arbour is the same.

Definately 150mm.
Thanks for the replies. I have since managed to find one in a local shop but Kev your Sawandbits 153mm option was the cheapest yet. There is a riving knife on the saw and there is little clearance with the blade but I might get away with the 153mm.
Cheers
