Basic Portable Router Bench
Some pics of a router bench I made. Nothing too high tech, but does what I need. Made out of formply (pieces slide easily on the coated surface), bolts to the top of an existing bench, and clamps to a rail at the bottom.
EDIT: Not sure what's going on with the pics. When I open the post they look upside down but when I click on them they open right way up

Looks truly functional and totally portable with the cordless Router. Nice job.
Glad the photos open the right way upDallas

great idea but how many times have you smashed your knees on the 'feet' poking out like that
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

I've only used it for about 3 hours actually doing a job and had no problem with hitting my knees. But now that you've said it I'll probably start losing skin
I neglected to add in the first post that this isn't my design. I googled "home made router bench" and found an Aussie on youtube who made this. He sold the plans for $10 which I thought was fair enough. All I did different was made mine a bit wider than his. Happy to post the link to his vid if that's required for fair disclosure and all that (and not against rules about posting links). I have no affiliation or interests in his sales.
