    Default Big Thanks to BobL

Called on to Bob's place yesterday - typical woodworker, timber every where Looked at a number of his projects with lots of beautiful Jarrah, stuff us easterners just drool over. Out to the shed to see his set up and drool over more timber and hand made tools and fittings.

Then off to his yard where he does his milling. Giant sized logs and heaps of sawdust. Even got to see his slab stashes in the main shed and his drying container. Last thing was to go through the owners' firewood pile and scored some small logs.

Back to Bob's place for lunch (he makes a mean sanga) then sliced up the firewood and a few other pieces of that blue leaf Jarrah he donated my way so I could post them back home. He also gave me some Jam

Had a great day, so thank a big thank you
    Neil

No worries Neil. It was good to meet you and chew the fat on common issues. It's not often we catch up with out of stater WWF members here on the west coast. Hope the interview went well and see ya saturday.

    Cheers

Just finished it . I was supposed to get the questions via email 0.5hr before interview, but they didn't arrive. I ended up ringing and writing them down, and got an extension to the interview start, but I still only got 20min prep & review time. Went well I think .

Since they developed a new position in my district for me I asked what projects would it be on, they advised it was the projects I was going to work on on my return anyway, so now if I don't win the position, not sure what project I will be working on. Too many chiefs in the office now, if I don't get it, does that mean there will be another chief

    See you next Sat.

    Cheers

Good luck with the new position interview Neil.

Give my regards and thanks to the Professor for all his encouragement and advice. Many times he could have slammed me, but his encouragement ,help , and direction has been really appreciated.

    Thanks Bobl
