Corner cabinet question
Hi, I am currently in the middle of building a new kitchen and am very close to ordering the doors. I am wondering what the calculation is for the two doors on the corner cabinet. What effect does the thickness of the door play in calculating the door sizes? I am aiming for a 2 mm gap between doors and end panels throughout the kitchen. Thanks

The catalogue/spec sheet for whichever hinges you get often has planning/layout dimensions, so might be worth checking there first. Different manufacturers may need different clearances, even if the products look the same.

Thanks for the reply. Checked out the hettich site and was unable to find what I was looking for. Doors will be 18mm thick. To give clearances I was thinking door opening -23mm would be adequate. Does this sound right? I am looking for 2mm clearance between doors and between doors and side panels.

Half the fun is working out what to look for. Did a google search for hettich corner hinge layout and found this: http://www.hettich.com/fileadmin/con...termat_ENG.pdf Page 57

Hi, thanks for the link. When would you use one option over the other? It looks like the option on the left may be a neater look with the option on the right having a 5 mm gap between doors if I have understood it correctly.
