Anyone else using Tapatalk?
Just checking to see how many people use tapatalk (or the HD version for the iPad)? I find it great and a really good way to use these awesome forums.
I've got two things that irritate me though. Perhaps others have found workarounds for these problems, so I'll outline them below:
1. I can't find the marketplace section, except by looking for a new thread, then following a link. I know on my computer it was a button at the top of the screen, but that doesn't work on tapatalk.
2. I can't see where anyone is from. On a computer, the person's location shows p next to their name. But it isn't immediately obvious on tapatalk.
Keen to hear the views of others, especially if you've found a way to resolve the issues above.

Anyone else using Tapatalk?
The way I have found easiest to find the marketplace was to firstly spend a bit of time to find it. Then I subscribed to the marketplace (not individual link, section heading). Now when I go to marketplace I click on the subscribed heading on the menu on right, and it is up the top. I hope that doesn't confuse you!
To find person location I click on the persons icon (not their name) and it should be self explanatory how to view location after that

Ok, seems this is an issue others have found. Probably should have searched. Happy for the mods to close/delete this thread.

I had also found the same problems on Tapatalk but now know the way around it. Thanks also.
One thing i like is that i can see all my posts in the "Participated" column and click refresh if anyone has updated.
Handy little tool. Although Tapatalk HD on Ipad is a rip off. Happy with the free app on the Samsung galaxy

I navigate to the forum i want for example, Woodworking forums - General . Then under General there are all the subtopics. When on the top level screen Woodworking forums - General i click my options button and there's a button that says "Subscribe"
Then when i navigate to the Category i can see a little white star with a orange background indicating its subscribed
Hope that wasn't confusing

I too think this is a handy little feature. It can be done on the online forums however it requires a few more clicks. Finding the market place is a pain so I will investigate the workarounds listed above.
Typically I just go to "latest" and "unread" and don't really search through the individual forums.
One problem I have noticed, which I am not sure if other also experience, is that if I have lets say 99+ unread posts, I go to the unread section and then start scrolling down. After the first 50 posts it requires you to "pull up" to load more topics. When I have done this I get the spinning symbol saying it is loading new topics. The issue I notice is that it often loads the first 50 posts again and I have to scroll down to the bottom again and "pull up" to load the rest. It is almost as if it is loading the first 50 posts a second time. The second time I do the "pull up" it loads more topics it generally gives me the 51-100 unread posts.
