Gear hobber and Taper gauge -
These may be of interest to other people. See the links on page below. I thought the gear hobber and taper gauge were interesting.
I found them whilst googling for clever ways to cut a morse taper with my short compound slide.
I set up the angle by dialing onto a taper mounted between the headstock and the tailstock - this chap uses a sort of sine bar approach to setting up the angle.
I dont understand his gear hobbing machine but other people will.
