Default WOODWORKING QUIZ for 10 Nov 04

    Good Morning Friends,
With the holidays coming up, there are a lot of gifts that we could make in our shops. The way women like candles, why not make some candle lanterns?

How would you go about making some, that would be eye appealing and decorative?

    Respectfully,

I suggest you would think about fire safety and then style.

Perhaps some metal to absorb the heat when the candle gets down a bit so the lantern doesn't catch fire.

Make sure it can't easily be tipped over.

It's summer here at Christmas time so candles will only heat the already hot house up so maybe they are more popular in the Northern hemisphere than here.

    Good Evening Wood Borer,
You have brought up a great point and the attached holders are the ones I was referring to, or something similar.

    Thank you for your support.

    Respectfully,
