G'Day
Hello All. I have just joined this forum to see who is near by and to find out hopefully good information and advice. I dabble with making some long awaited furniture that my wife has waited, very patiently, many years for me to get to. I live near Newcastle NSW and am currently working my way through some New Guinea rose wood that has been air seasoned for a long time. I love Australian hardwoods and am interested in any helpful advice that comes my way. Cheers everyone.

G'Day, Welcome to a top forum "Dwano".
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, crowie
Check through the announcements as there is a Hunter Get ToGether come up very soon.....

Welcome to the forum. Best to spend time in the shed making the furniture, then have to tell wife that it is not done yet.

Welcome! You will most certainly get good help and advice, more likely more than you can process! Seriously knowledgeable bunch of folks here, and more than generous with their time and knowledge.
