Flai rip blade
I've just fitted a Flai rip blade to my Laguna TS so far I've put about 1/2 a km through with great results. The blade cuts with great ease with just the slightest cross hatching and the occasional deeper slice due to operator error.
the timber is a variety of Vic HW 21mm thickness.
will be interesting to see how long it will continue as I have an estimated 15km to go.
my usual rip blade is a Leuco on my 12" woodfast but the motor decided to stop and I need to get it fixedSome people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they

It looks like vic ash or tassi oak to me. How did you end up getting an estimated 15km of timber if I may ask. Is it recycled timber?

It's approx 900 lineal metres per pack which I rip into strips usually 3 or 5 strips per length and I have a few packs to go through. The packs are mixed species of vic hardwood.
