    Question bay window gutter spout

Folks, I'm replacing the guttering on a bay window that has a spout (no down pipe) to divert the water out to the front of the house away from the bay eaves and window. The guttering is zincalume quad fascia guttering and I was wondering how I can create a reliable spout that doesn't look hideous?

Others may have a different answer, but all we have ever done on bay window guttering is to install a little 'pissa' pipe about 25mm diam x 150mm long (trimmed back with a fancy cut end) that just discharged onto the ground because the small roof area collects such a low volume of water.

You may choose to put a downpipe at one end where the window meets the wall but I think its overkill, and if you ever want to install awnings or roller shutters it may get in the way.

    Question

    Thanks Jack,

What was the pissa pipe made from and where did you position it and what angle (from the horizontal)?
