Hi Selena and welcome to the forum. finding antique chisels is challenging. Not many woodworkers will part from their treasured tools but don't let that deter you from searching. I have seen some reasonable good quality old chisels at trash and treasure markets. Some of the old Stanley or Robert Sorby are great chisels but I just use whichever one comes to hand at the time I am working and if it does what I want it to do, brand name doesn't matter.
Good luck with your search.. Good idea to keep your eye on the Market place here on the forum and ebay for used stuff like that.
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John

    G'day & welcome Selena..
As you've already seen, heaps of helpful & knowledgable blokes & ladies on the forum.
Make sure you put up some photos in your threads as everyone loves seeing others handiwork; especially WIP with notes.
    Enjoy your woodwork/chisel work.
    Enjoy the forum.
cheers "from on top down under", crowie
