Mini max combo planer thicknesser
I have had this Minimax planer/thicknesser (fs30) for about five years now (bought it second hand so I'm unsure of its exact age, maybe 10 years) and am selling it as I now have a combination machine. It has been a great machine for the time I have used it. It has a 300mm wide cut, the thicknesser will open to 240mm and the overall length of the tables is about 1500mm. The tables are cast iron and the fence is aluminium. This machine was made in Italy and is industrial quality. It is single phase, on wheels and has three straight blades that are newly sharpened. Looking for $1200 for it.

If the boss (wife) lets me and I am able to sell my existing planer and thicknesser, I will definitely consider it?
Are you in the metro area?
Also, how long does it take to convert from planer to thicknesser etc?
Cheers

Hi Arry
Sorry it has taken me a while to respond. The Christmas rushing got the better of me. Yes I live in the metro area in Hillarys and the machine is very easily accessible. It probably takes about 30 seconds to convert from planning to thicknessing and about 10 seconds more the other way as you have to set the thicknesser table to 75mm to allow everything to fold back in. All adjustments as very simple. Feel free to ask anymore questions and Ill be a bit quicker with my response. If you would like to have a look and give it all a try then let me know, no expectation to buy it.
Thanks
Ross
