Vitex decking - help for finishing please
<style></style>Hi. I have just had a vitex deck built and am looking to coat it with something to prevent greying/silvering of the timber. I have looked at some stains but can not seem to find one that looks that great on the vitex (stains seem to look kind of fake if you get my drift). I really like the natural look of the vitex (especially when it is wet) so am keen on using a product that will retain the natural look as much as possible.
I do not mind recoating every year, but am not keen on the clear surface a polyurethane would give.
I am based in Auckland (but don;t hold that against me) so I do not think we can get the full rnage of Aussie products over here.
THanks for any help.
