Which tool to buy?

Hi, need to lift a lot of nails on my deck without damaging the timber - as little as possible anyway.
What tool/pry bar should I use?

If the decking is coming off, use this.
Just a moment...
Rest it on the joist and lever up the boards while standing up. Easy.

Then use a standard pinch / wrecking bar to remove any nails left in the joists. Just a moment...

Another little trick I use to reduce damage to the decking boards is
Lift the decking up at one end which happens to lift the nails slightly at an angle, then tap the deck down (not on the nails). This leaves the 2 nails sticking out and easily removed with nail puller / pincer
You keep moving down the decking board and by end of it you've also removed the nails which I assume you want to do anyways as you're keeping the boards. Any nails left in the joist can also easily be pulled with the pincers. With good technique you're also not wasting time picking up nails flung out by hammer.

While a hammer also works, it doesn't like broken heads/damaged nails, and the rocking space required by the pincers require less realestate for leverage vs enormous hammer head.

I also love the flat shape of this bar as it slides easier in between timber and reduces damage to timber I want to reuse.
