Builders Foam (?)
I've just had an outdoor blind installed on the new deck, and the design of the house/deck means there is a ~15mm gap down one side between the corner post of the house, and the aluminium post supporting one side of the blind.
The installer said that if the gap bothered me, I should just get a length of builders foam, and it should slot in there to fill the gap. As he explained it, it is a somewhat compressible material, like some sort of extruded foam perhaps? Predictably a trip down the to the big green shed lead to puzzled looks and no ideas. Apart from the repeated suggestion of "you mean expanding foam". No, I am most definitely not after expanding foam.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for this material? Or another name it might be known as?
Cheers.
