We are currently repainting the inside of our house. 1 room and 1 toilet down, so far so good. Its a very slow process.

Everything was going great until I decided to start on the bathroom ceiling. I gave it a clean down and sanded back the loose paint chips and filled with some fine filla.

Anyway did the first undercoat/sealer and all went to @@@@. Bubbles and peeling everywhere. So started scraping back the loose paint and the whole lot starts coming off. Most of the stuff thats peeling is exactly under were the nail holes and joins have been bogged when the ceiling was initially put up. My options now are -

1.Do I just scraped the whole ceiling back to the gyprock and re-seal?

2.Or can I just re-seal the sections that have bubbled and I have scraped back already then bog those sections level with the none peeled sections I have already undercoated and are holding steady?

3. Pay someone who knows what they are doing?

Currently using british paints acryllic sealer/undercoat all in one.

Suggestions welcome

Cheers
