Annoyed, need to spend another $21.80
Just went to use some Feast Watson black Prooftint.
I keep all of my glues, tints, fillers etc in polystyrene coolers (esky type). The coolers keep everything at a reasonable temperature/humidity independent of any outside extremes. Never had any issues using this method until now.
I have seen cans rust/corrode around a bottom seam before but never on a vertical seam until now. This is the one and only in the box, just happened to be the one I needed. Prooftint is highly volatile and the almost full can is now, of course, empty. How to evaporate $21.80.
This could be a one off but perhaps you need to check yours.
Edit The picture was taken the right way up but I can't rotate it on the forum.Regards,
Bob

Happy update.
I was contacted by Feast Watson after my original post indicating that my can may have been faulty. Feast Watson said that they would be happy to replace my loss which has now been done.
I indicated to FW that I was not complaining about the product but was posting my experience so that others could check their stocks. I have no connection with the company in any way shape or form other than a long term user of their products, especially the Proof tint stains.
What an absolute pleasure to see a modern business supporting their customers instead of the usual experiences we are all too often exposed to.
My thanks to them.Regards,
Bob
