Ebay issue
Hi all
I have a small issue with an ebay purchase and was after your combined wisdom.
I bought an item (camping trailer tent) worth $2000.00 with delivery in the sale scheduled for september. The seller has 100% feedback. i imagine they are onsellers for the goods.
But
I bought it on 12 August. Sent message confirming total with freight from seller same day.
Heard nothing for a few days so sent another stating I wanted to complete the payment. They replied on 19 August asking for my mobile to arrange details. Messaged back same day with my mobile.
Its now the 26th August and still heard nothing.
Now I am starting to worry a little, not that its a scam as they would have wanted the mula but more about what the service is like if they cant even get this bit right.
Any thoughts?

Hi Dazzler ,You've done the right thing offered to pay ,had very little communication from them apart from requesting your cell phone No.which you subsequently supplied.
Sounds like they can't or won't accommodate you. Then you have the option to report or go to dispute thru E bay to get some satisfaction.
There are checks and balances put in place by Ebay for cases like this.
Check the rules for more clarification.
Good luck

as an ebay seller i would suggest u email them direct.
there are many things that can affect the ebay messages they are far from reliable it is a real pain when it leads to bad rep when u have to work so hard to get a good rep.

They've got "Live Help" now. I haven't used it on Ebay, but I have on other websites. You get to chat online to someone from Ebay. They might be able to help.
Just click on Contact Us at the top of the page and then Live Help.Cheers, Richard

Thanks for the responses.
I dont think they are necessarily 'bad' just slack and thats whats worrying me a little, particularly if there is a problem with the item.
Most sellers want the money quick, this fella is the opposite
