    Default Australia Day

What will every one be doing on Australia Day?

I will get my fully restored Victa Super 18 out and cut the grass, other times I use a modern mower the old Victa is wheeled out every Australia Day. I will then BBQ a leg of Lamb, good Australian activities.

Taking it easy with good friends and talking rubbish (it is Friday, after all ). Hanging out on a back deck, firing up the BBQ and sinking a few cold ones whilst listening to the Hottest 100 on Triple J.

    Can't wait.

Not wanting to totally hijack the "day off" thread, but I was reading the book of the making of the film of Woodstock.... and the landlord in Manhattan cut their power off - so they got some from the utility by leaning out the window with a couple of big alligator clips.... it's true! And I thought we (us & Benny-the-banned ) were the first to think it up....

Going fishing in the morning with the neighbour and then probably a few beers bangers and a game of cricket either at the beach or in the front yard.

200,000 more or less at Woodstock. 2 million claim they were there. Do the maths.
