Deck oil or water based acrylic
Hi,
I'm just about to clean and oil my newish merbau deck, but am undecided whether to go with an oil or a water based acrylic?
Thanks to UteMad for his excellent tutorial on how to clean your deck, I will be following this method, but its got me thinking what to use on top. I had planned to use Spa'n'Deck, but after reading through a few posts of people having problems down the track when it's time to re-clean and coat with these water based acrylics its got me reconsidering...
Should I go with an oil (such as Feast & Watson) or stick to Spa'n'Deck, it will be fairly high traffic with kids and dogs so I want it to be up to the challenge, but I don't want to have to sand the thing down when it need another clean and oil.
Cheers
Trent
