Default Fixing pull out shower head in spa bath

I've been asked by a client to fix the pull out shower head in a corner spa bath ready to rent out the unit.

There's no leaks in the shower head, but where the shower hose comes out of the side of the bath, the hole is much bigger than the shower hose, so the owner smeared silicon all over the place. Now she wants me to fix it up so it looks pretty.

So, two questions, what would it have had when new, and what can I do to make it look smart?

In the worst case, it doesn't matter if the shower head doesn't pull out any more.
    Cheers, Richard

Use a 15 or 20mm chrome plated wall flange - also called tap flanges, finish flange and silver round do hickey. take shower head off and then slide it over the out side and then put the head back on.

Wonder plumb is talking about the danger of backflow using a shower head that can reach into the bath. What you have there is technically illegal.

Sounds good, cheap, straightforward. But can you fix it in place?
