Looking to remove a post to give me extra unencumbered floor space when I concrete under my deck.

Span will be maximum 5 metres. The current posts and beam support an external wall that is actually the
external wall of a built in verandah area.

What size beam will I need and can I bolt it to the current hardwood beam?
