    Default acrylic laquer

    Hi all, I used to use mirotone aqualac but it is no longer available, can anyone tell me of a good alternative.

    A job I just completed, I couldnt get the Ameron product I have been using, so I tried this stuff from Protec. I was happy with the results, though I did seem to use a lot to get the job done, but that could be the nature of the piece I was finishing.

    PS, I just reread your post, maybe this is not what your after.
    Is Aqualac a water based laquer ?

    Yes aqualac is or was a waterbase product
