    Default What have I bought?

    Hi

So I bought this bandsaw at an auction the other day.

Doesn't seem to have to many identifiable markings on it. Actually it has none.

Does anyone know what year/brand/model it is?

It has a note saying the blade in it is 3966mm x 6.35mm x 18TPI.

oh and it has a 3 phase motor.

    Thanks

    Craig

So the Carbatec sticker is a random sticker rather than brand? Anyway, measure the wheel size as that will determine actual size (ie 14", 16" 18" 20" etc) and throat opening may give a hint. Apart from that can't help.

    Default The Saw.

    Hi There,
With a Blade of 18TPI, one wood think it was a Metal Cutting Saw. Looks like a decent job, & I've known Woodies to buy Meat Saws, & they make them work on wood.
    Regards,
    issatree.
