    Default Rheuben & Co Sydney.

Hi all, our club was recently donated this tool, branded RHEUBEN & Co LTD. SYDNEY, previously owned by a motor trimmer in Perth. I have managed to find, on line, an Otto Rheuben, a button manufacturer from the 1930's and assume that this tool is a punch or possibly a grommet setting tool used in the button trade. As can be seen from the photo's it has been heavily modified by welding a plate onto the base.
I'm hoping to remove the welded add-ons and attempt to restore it back to original, and to this end would appreciate any photo's you might have of what it's supposed to look like.
Any info' on this tool or the Rheuben company will be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Geoff.
