    Default New book on Finishing

My local library likes to keep up to date with books on woodworking and related subjects.

One of their latest acquisitions is:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Furniture-Restoration-Step-Step-Professional/dp/0823020703"]Amazon.com: Furniture Restoration: Step-by-Step Tips and Techniques for Professional Results: Books: Ina Brosseau Marx,Allen Marx[/ame]

I borrowed it yesterday and must say it is very impressive, covers not only the more mundane finishes but things like furniture joint repair, making molds and casts to replace missing bits, graining, gilding and lots of other subjects. Beautifully illustrated and printed, about the only negative is the local cost, $A87, but Amazon does a little better.

If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
