Cutting studs for 40mm piping
Hi, newbie to this site.
I have built a new partition wall internally using 90mm x 35mm studs. The studs are set at 400mm apart. The wall is 1400mm wide. I intend to hide the 40mm PVC pipe by installing within the wall.
Question: I will need to cut approx 45mm out of the stud.
Will that weaken the studs?
Excuse my terminology - I have alot to learn.
