Two questions.
Guy's, Last weekend thought I'd have a major clear-up in my workshop after recently completing
a couple of major projects, the workshop looked like a bomb had hit.
I have a stack of timber off cuts, all cross sections and different timbers and being a hoarder can't bring
myself to throw out any timber, every off-cut looks as though it may come in handy some time in the dim and distant future, so...
Q1. What personal rules do you have regarding keeping off-cuts or dumping them ?
Probably no real answer to this one...
Q2. I'm looking at getting a bench vice and really torn between a 'woodwork vice' or a 'metalwork vice'. I do a little of both woodwork and metalwork and too tight to buy two vices. does anybody use a metalwork type vice for holding timber ? if so do you use some sort
of cover over the jaws to protect the timber when clamping up ?.
Cheers...The tight fisted timber hoarding vice virgin.
