Removing sliding door frame
Tried posting on the renovation section but no dice. I need to remove our sliding door frame to replace the weather damaged timber under the bottom track.
All glass and visible screws have been removed and I thought it would just slide out. I've given it a few cautious taps but it's not budging. Any advise appreciated.

My aluminium doors came installed in a timber surround, try removing the architrave either side you may see a couple of nails which is what holds the door in place.hacksaw blade to cut these push door and frame in. There may also be a couple of pins across the top too. Once the architrave is off all shall be revealed.
Cheers

Thanks. Found out the door goes in before the brick work is done. This means too big a job for me. I'll screw the bottom timber into the slab to pull it down, and hopefully take the bow out of it. The timber appears to be ok.
