Leigh e-7 Bush - baseplate to fit TradeTools 1500 Router
Just got my Leigh 12" dovetail jig and I'm trying to find a base plate, for my TradeTools 1500 router, that has the correct diameter hole to suit the Leigh e-7 Bush.
Have made up a workaround baseplate from the pop out centre of a Carba-Tec router table plate; but would like a 'proper' baseplate if one is available.
The Leigh handbook lists umpteen different brand routers and the base plate part number but the local TradeTools router doesn't get a mention, as expected.
Maybe a forum member has found a base plate for a different brand router that fits the TT 1500 ?
Any help appreciated.

Aftermarket sub bases are generally set up to take PC style guide bushes, though some take a dedicated style. The E7 is a PC style mount. Carbatec have a couple of bases in their catalogue for PC guides. One is predrilled for a range of routers, but may still need to be drilled to suit yours. Drill the screw holes about 2.5mm oversize, and recess the screw heads in OS holes as well. Use caphead screws (not countersink), and you can move the subbase around relative to the the roter base to get the centering spot on.
Universal Router Base Plate : CARBA-TEC
Eurojig® Router Base Plate : CARBA-TECI used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

BPA-1 from Carbatec, $29. If the holes don't line upas tthey're designed to for common brands, drill your own.
