Resawing
Hello, I have a Kity 12" bandsaw & have mostly used a 1/4" blade with reasonable success. The Kity requires that the blade runs on the edge of the wheel. I am trying to resaw some silky oak 5" deep with the factory 1/2" blade. Set it up & it cut like an old dog, the cut managing to wander all over the shop & persistently undoing the thrust bearing. Need help, advice, a gun to shoot the bloody thing......Peter
