family going to Oz
Right about now, my son, daughter-in-law and three children are climbing on a plane in Springfield, Missouri, USA. They will make a stop for a few days in Hawaii then on to Australia. Son is an emergency room physician and will work in a hospital in Port Macquarie. They will make other visits around the world before returning home in a year.
We hope to get down to visit in early December. A lot of hurdles to clear before that happens though.
We will miss them but are very proud they are able to take on this adventure.

What a lovely experience for them all. I'm sure they will enjoy their stay in Australia.
Reality is no background music.

Great part of the world. Have been here for 7 months now. Send a PM if you have time for a catch up.

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

We had some Australian friends stay with us who live in Port Macquarie this year.
If your family are golf players respond to me via PM and our friends I am sure would like to meet them and it would be perhaps a way of introduction to the local community.
Lovely town and beautiful part of Oz. by the way.woody U.K.

Stayed in Hamilton NZ for a few days they refer to it as a garden city the country surrounding is well renowned for breeding quality race horses with several studs abounding in the region.
Rained all the time we were there but in Autumn you have to expect it. lots of nice drives around the Waikato river.
